The game is up Ranger!
You've started another "game over" thread Ranger!! : )
It's a valid point for the other way as well with Manyana. Like with all boards, I'm just wary of the fact that some people may action trades based on seeing recurring doomsday or pie in the sky positive posts. We are totally in the dark due to lack of information.
I note PS post and bronxville and other posts. This may well be the case. I would counter that TOR is not in the driving seat anymore. The investors would be micro managing everything from now on. He can probably just about order new stationary independent of them. I agree his salary is the least of the company worries. I don't think they would have participated in the last fund raise if it was a complete lost cause. Im not alarmed by the lack of news. If nothing noteworthy has been achieved to date, what should they say?
Sure, they have their opinion which everyone is well aware of now! You are another "game over" merchant by the looks of it with your "horses have bolted" comment ; )
Are you an investor in PVR?
Buckle, I'm sorry if you lost money in WW or IN&M. It would seem that you have a major dislike of the O'Reillys. My point is you and Ranger continuously post "game over" contributions when you simply don't know. No one does. Fair enough that you have this conviction but do you need to post about it ad nauseum. If you do you might qualify your views.
They are owned by MediaHuis now. How does IN&M closing a printing press correlate with PVR?
You never answered me before Buckle if you were investor in IN&M or Waterford??
Ranger, of course you are entitled to post your view. I'm only suggesting that you are repeatedly posting the same general gloomy view without really backing it up as to why.
Also, I've never posted anything supportive of the way TOR is running things so I'm not sure where you are getting that idea from?
Game almost over for Logp & Pvr
Oil exploration game Over for Ireland.
That's your last post on logo! : ) Game over, thanks for playing!
Ranger, all your posts are on the same theme...PVR are doomed, going to zero etc.
Genuine question, why don't you sell if you think its going to fall further?
Buckler, were you an investor in Independent news and media or Waterford wedgewood?
Buck...are you like the A Team for retail investors?
You seem very angry! People who invest their money can take advice fine but not a lecture and abuse. If you have no money invested, don't worry so much!
Excellent post.
TOR will say the next farm in needs to be negotiated but PP could do that. Let's face it, legal and corporate finance houses are going to do all the heavy lifting.
A couple of posters were saying previously that TOR was gone if money didn't land, that it was agreed. What do they think now?
Also excerpt from examiner quoting the TOR:
"I can't say categorically [if the payment deadline won't be extended further] until we weigh up all the facts. The view of the company is consistent with what I said at the agm [in that] we'd probably not look to extend,"
I'd love to see Aiden Heavey bring some experience and competence to the role. Wishful thinking!
Appreciate this is hindsight but could it really have been that hard to insist on payment to a third party in advance of signing with APEC. It's not like there were a known quantity with a proven track record. Obviously once PVR found a partner who would front their costs, they were willing to believe anything and signed up straight away. Such an unnecessary mess.
Current job spec involves setting your alarm clock to ring China once a night and checking banking online periodically during the week. Must also have experience in issusing vague and ever hopeful RMS.
Mamms totally agree. North Sea line sounds like more rubbish to deflect at the AGM. "North Sea" companies. Might as well be saying some Texan Oilmen are kicking the tyres!
The money isn't coming but I will be surprised if TOR goes next week under any circumstances. I expect lots of talk about turning pages, lots of interest etc and then back to business as usual PVR style!
Telling people to p**s off now Manyana! That's nice of you!
Good to know. Thanks very much Bill, Cionnathagad!
Cionn
What documents did you have to provide to attend AGM given you have shares in nominee?
I'm in the same boat.
He who dares Rodders..he who dares! : )
Hopefully Bill, we'll get going again after fund raise. It buys enough time to farm in a partner and we surely know what to avoid this time! I think it could have been worse and at least they are grasping the nettle early and getting on with it but I assume events are dictating that to a large extent.
