Speedy email response! I assume the RNS will put some 'meat on the bones' of the exploration plans....

Not until we prove up more zinc/lead resource or the property becomes strategically important to G11 and/or Glencore imo. We need the 'promised' RNS to at least get some answers about the direction of travel...

I've emailed Teeling to ask why we have a delay in the publication of the next phase of Stonepark development....

No great fan of Teeling but just give Group 11 our (24%) share of the next phase of exploration costs and let the 'experts' get on with expanding our zinc/lead resource. With Glencore having 26% of G11 we benefit from their interest/expertise (and ultimate sale to them!). Teeling can continue to focus on Mine River and Inishowen gold projects....

Mcap a tiny £2.3m! Currently very undervalued on potential alone?

Mine River: RNS 10 Sep: 'The exceptionally high grade sample of 51.6g/t gold is an extraordinary find for the Mine River project. The area to the east lies within the heart of a large gold bearing soil anomaly which is open and untested'

Inishowen: RNS 6 Jan: "The trenching results at Inishowen match if not exceed our best expectations. The discovery of new high grade gold veins eighty-five metres along strike from the initial 2016 drillholes, represents a watershed moment for the Inishowen Gold Project.''

Stonepark: RNS 30 Sep: 'Stonepark was for a long time the flagship project for Arkle. Over 180 holes were drilled discovering over 5 million tons grading over 11 per cent. zinc and lead. Among zinc discoveries worldwide, this is high grade. The mineralisation is in three separate zones and is adjacent to the large, 45 million ton plus, Pallas Green zinc discovery owned by Glencore.' Teeling told us to expect an RNS on the next stage of exploration 'within 10 days to 2 weeks' from 16 September....

I think we'll need some (positive) news to see the back of 2p. We know what is happening at Central Menzies and Eclipse but it would be interesting to see what other expansion opportunities the BoD present to us.....

Earl, a quick update of the figures.......

Current 5MT resource @ lets say 11% zinc is around 550000T and 2.5% of Lead is 125000T

We own 24% For round numbers, say 132000T and 30000T respectively.

Lets say :
$2700 p/T = $356M or £261M for zinc
$1900p/T = $57M or £43M for lead

If we assume 50% of removable (id suggest thats bare minimum) thats £152M

Minus 30% costs and tax thats £106M against a £2.7M MCap

Earl, I posted some calculations posted by Gino a while back (published below) which show the POTENTIAL of Stonepark. Lots of further exploration and costs before we prove up an increase resource and sell our share to G11 or Glencore. All speculation at this stage BUT with an mcap of only £2.7M could bag many times..

Lets say :
$2700 p/T = $270M or £200M for zinc
$1900p/T = $57M or £43M for lead

If we assume 50% of removable (id suggest thats bare minimum) thats £120M

Minus 30% costs and tax thats £80M against a £4M MCap

Minumum asset sale for the above £30M imo

That's why we need the RNS ('10 days to 2 weeks' Teeling said on 16 Sep!) then we can structure our investment accordingly.....

£40m is a bit of a stretch lol, although we have a mcap of £2.7m so plenty of scope for a re rate......

26 Jan RNS: "The two holes drilled at Stonepark provide us with clear resource expansion potential at Stonepark North and strong vectors for follow-up work at Stonepark West. Further expansion drilling is strongly warranted."

Teeling described Stonepark as 'the jewel in the crown'

Further drilling needs to expand the resource but then our 23% share becomes extremely attractive for G11 imo and that is where shareholders are going to make their money imo. Gold is a distraction/bonus depending on your viewpoint...

30 Sep RNS: 'We have adequate funds to meet current and expected exploration expenditure.'

Teeling said in the podcast that were were willing and able to fund our (23%) share of the costs of the next phase of Stonepark development. The RNS should explain the detail and is (over) due!

Auc, I'm no great fan of Mine River (inishowen was always my favoured gold project) but I invested here for the potential of Stonepark (and takeover by Group 11/Glencore). We now appear to be on the verge of further exploration and if we can prove up an increase on an already substantial zinc/lead resource then that possibility becomes more of a reality imo. In those circumstances forget 2p!!

Good to see a bit of buying interest this morning. Looks like I'm not the only one looking forward to Stonepark plans.....
