A friend forwarded a (TW) recommendation to buy these shares at the current price! Worth a punt? (my partner bought shares in ARB at 4p after his recommendation and sold at £2!)

Auc, many small cap shares have had a good couple of (blue) days. No one seems particularly interested in ARK even though a bid for our share of Stonepark by G11/Glencore (petty cash!) would be at multiples of today's mcap imo

thelearner, yep 1.4p is a bit of a steep climb but you never know! Have many more millions of these shares (confetti lol) than was intended but, heyho, looking at my trading account I'm currently in profit to the tune of 29%. Amazing! GL

Looks like a few buyers drawn in by the hype today have now sold at a loss. Not isolated cases on AIM where peeps chase quick profits without doing their homework!

longtimeinvestor, you need to listen to Andrew Bailey's interview this morning and his comments on the governments energy 'subsidy' plans, to be announced tomorrow, and its potential impact on UK inflation. NO chance of 0.75% next week imo

Very quiet here! We may well have already commenced drilling at Stonepark....

RNS 9 August 23:
*A further three holes will be drilled on the Stonepark licences beginning in September, two holes on the Western side of the licence block and one to the South of the block.

*John Teeling, Chairman of Arkle, commented: "Progress is being made in exploring the Stonepark block. The Carrickittle West hole discovered a major fault structure with significant vertical displacement. These structures are highly prospective in Irish style zinc deposits."

P2CR, I'm afraid you're complete right in that long suffering shareholders here have been totally shafted. JP has conned us out of loads of cash with his cheesy grin and throwaway remarks like 'tsunami of cash' and 'juggernaut' and we fell for it. Escaping without losing cash here will be a great result!
