In my defense I have often crystallised my losses against CGT gains and when you include this "offset affect" my losses were not so bad.

I assumed they had derived enough information from the previous drill that was all, the fact that previous Aex mgt had not emphasised that as an immediate requirement merely goes to enforce how out of their depth they were or disingenuous in what they chose to share to pis.
Either way I (personally) can only see further dilution (unless creditors pay their respective debts) , one way or the other and simply at this point Aex cannot stand on its own two feet and that is obvious.
There is real value here, how much pis will gain from that is another matter, as recent share price activity appears to imply.

To be clear I don't see much of upside from here for quite some time unless by some miracle we get the cash back for previous "gas sales"?
This could surprise me but I personally think other more likely things to happen - some form of placing - consolidation - corporate activity which I probably don't think will bring much short term upside for AEX.
I need CGT offsets anyway - so really have to clear the crap from my portfolio so if that wasn't me I will certainly be out before end of tax year. It would "seem" there are other quite large sellers as well who simply "don't care"?

Me thinks that maybe a bit too risky regardless of the "high" COS / POS of the well (which I actually don't understand though - so probably wrong assumption there)?
If farmed out - a totally different deal required by the company wanting to farm in.

I'm going for a fully carry well prog. max. $50MM (incl. sidetrack / DST if required?) leaving EOG with 15 - 18.5% post well?

I didn't bother answering because RBL in Tanzania "may" only be lent against "1p a and b" due to possible "political interference" etc getting to extract 2p stuff which may or may not require work-over / side track / completely new well?

Look at licence timelines and work commitments and you cannot see a funding gap?

I do not think (a lot of) people appreciate the "issues" here. Unless we can get a "value adding" corporate transaction - which let's (truly!) face facts is unlikely - because it would take an altruistic share-holder or a BD team as bad as BH's (which you'd have to go a long way to find!) then the next 6-12 months really do not look "fun".
