HeresHopin - I know you're not going to converse with me - a bit like JH77 when the share price was in the teens - as he didn't have much of a clue either but.... Based upon your non response as to how long you've been a holder, how many you carry etc I'm going to assume (boring but I know I know...) you are a relative Johnny cum lately who thought they'd buy some say 40% higher than now - just because it can't get that much lower?! Now you're angwy and sensitive about that. At the end of the day everyone has to take responsibility for their decisions. To make myself very clear - I do not think this is the end of IOG - but there is some (possibly quite high) risk that

1. There will be some potential dilution to appease current bond-holders

2. It is very easy to feel calm when conversing with Bod etc about such things because we all have differing viewpoints and they will probably feel they have done a good job in "minimising" any possible dilution (coincidentally leaving them with more time in their over paid positions and re-balanced LTIPS (!)) whereas small PI's will feel hard done by and "let down".

3. I have always been very consistent with my messaging which was - if the current producing well failed then I felt IOG would follow quickly. Now it is producing (whether in line with previous forecasts or not) the journey will still be very arduous and difficult - even with higher gas prices this winter - especially in light of what look like lower guided production profiles for second part of year?

4. This is all IMHO and as ever DYOR and OWN your decisions.

I would be the absolutely first to congratulate anyone who made money - as I have said previously - they have far bigger balls than me now - and that is saying something!

What I don't like - is those same posters continually exchanging - opinions - NOT facts but dressing them up as such.

You don't sound that gifted in the brain department and I hope you can grasp the following - but I'm going to spin your argument around - I have been continually posting over the years about my mis-givings - go back and check - I have never "gloated" about the share price being low - I "gloated" about all the positive enforcement here - that used to shout me down and call me and a couple of others boring - I hope some people did take notice and then "may" have reflected on those observations at the time and could have potentially cut their losses but to be clear i offer absolutely no investment advice?

So I am assuming you are a holder - may I ask at what price you purchased and when?

Were you around when Fiona et al (the cluster f*** Management team, lol) came up with this cluster f*** of a BS "reconstruction" as I had been here for many years actually.

What I did remember was when one of the best top quartile management teams in the business were looking to potentially purchase here and all the "experts" on here talked so derogatively about those "wide boys".

All I had was absolute admiration and was personally so angry the "muppet central" management team here didn't even reply to the RRE team and was derided for that opinion.

So you're talking 15p take out now - may I ask what you base that on?

I cannae come up with any higher than 5-6p based upon debts, assets and "possible" tax write offs - if anyone is interested that is and I may be being overly generous there? If they get a not particularly dilutive deal with the bond-holders - you "may" see more than that as a continued holder?

Very busy - so literally can only make a couple of posts a day so don't take non reply as rudeness or implicit agreement but, thought I'd share my "wisdom" just for you (CS) today!!

David S another respectful and admired poster - how's it going buddy - you still a holding and what share prices are you "forecasting"?

Jesus they need that RNS or else the "shorters" (I'm assuming in collaboration with the bond-holders?!) will be in control which is something at least one twat on here seems to think. Are these "naked" shorts as I cannae see any evidence at all of "material" shorting. I can see a lot of traders coming in and out though - which is always going to contribute to volatility - and be misinterpreted by people of a certain IQ. All IMHO.

I absolutely don't disagree which was why as I have also posted over on ADV I'm in a half way house between the ultra positives like Del etc and the ultra negs like Jak etc. A compromise arrangement of sorts will have to be reached to alleviate bond concerns in the short to medium term - but I personally don't think this will include wiping out IOG equity however they ain't a charity!

I absolutely agree - I think their drilling team is much improved - or more-so the management of the third parties they paid to conduct on their behalf!

However the issue there has also always been their G&G team, IMHO - and have they got that right yet?

Drilling is relatively "easy" and quantitive in nature - Geology more of an "art"?

That is not to say drilling in N Sea is ever easy of course!

I see you worked on H2 which could well have been a very successful well and help the current situation which has led you to buy but - as Mole alludes there is a lot more to IOG issues than the performance of H2 - if it had failed then game over for IOG but now it has been successful it's still going to be a tough arduous journey for share-holders, IMHO!!

I post on here (firstly because it's a free country last I looked?)just to redress some balance between the "it'll be in the high teens - twenties - thirties" posts and some cold hard facts, which is that this isn't being "shorted" (that much) but is a good excuse - just like "mm games" to rely upon for more fundamental reasons - again all IMHO! You also potentially need a deal with the bond-holdesr to placate them - this is the most important aspect of IOG's future at the moment. shorting is not high for this company but it's woes are - it's really that simple guys - stop looking for reasons / excuses that simply aren't there. IMHO.

Apologies Del and it is my last post today but - can you provide a reconciliation to that figure of 10 million per month revenue - what currency is that, does it take into account the net JV share of IOG and the initial amount repayable to CAL E - and I am assuming you are factoring in a substantial price rise for the gas toward the end of year - so is it an average amount per month to quote as "now" - or is this forecast toward the end of year? Thanks. IMHO, DYOR.

Stubluekpl - but absolutely respectfully - who has been right about the constant negativity and isn't it better to have someone remind of this rather than an area of confirmation bias?

The "management" team here is much much improved but this will still be a difficult and arduous journey back to previous company valuations mooted by many on here - why not just filter me - then no stress?

i've been very busy coldspy and i did "pop in" over on adv to congratulate the team - once then.

don't worry about my investments matey - i don't want to sound (more of!) a **** to some on here - but i can happily absorb such losses - as i used to (quite often) state on here when i cautioned about having a diversified portfolio (and this was a respectively relatively small allocation of mine) as was concerned a lot had "gambled" money on here - pulled in by the company confidence and cos of their respective assets.

i didn't bother posting yesterday because it would simply have got lost in all the dross.

anyways - only intended posting once on here today and whilst i enjoy the "intellectual" cut and thrust (ahem) i'm off now.

absolutely genuinely best of luck all and here's hoping the "bond issue" can get sorted out as soon as practical.

H18, because generally with time the better blocks go first.

Obviously there may be some hidden gems and with infra-structure in place smaller "stuff" is probably blessed with slightly better economics historically with (ridiculous) gas prices.

However most will be marginal - and likely - especially in these ridiculously high taxing times more risky to invest in than a lot of other world side assets and of course mots importantly UK O&G will likely have Sir Kneeler to contend with - who sways in the wind like a midge and has about the same intelligence? IMHO.

And that last post by Coldspy is a very good example of the emotional "crap" posted on here.

Coldspy no mate - between 7 and 8 but still took substantial losses! Not a holder, no intention of being one but also not a "shorter". I think you were around when I was a holder and I never had much good to say about the "management" who have significantly improved but from a very very low bar of course! The reason for this low bar is that a lot of crap wasn't screened out when it should - and that was what I got wrong - the Geologists were in charge - and "most" times that isn't good business practice. Hopefully this will get better and hence better capital allocation rather than "nice to see" exploration.

Hamster - seriously why will 33rd round be a better "class" of crap?

I think IOG will survive but not in the rosy way a lot on here forecast.

I am "halfway" between the bond holders calling time and the high double digit share prices.

I saw a billion thrown out earlier - that is mad land, lol.

Just trying to throw in some sense among the plethora of crap on here now.
