Will this share ever get some relief. My buy in price @ 30 looking like a very bad decision.

I have been a shareholder for several years, and average at 60. This eternal suffering has reached an end point for me. Why sell now some may say at it lowest valuation ever, truth is I see no path back in the next 1-2 years. ( Assuming THG exists). There are other opportunities to get money back or simply draw a line under it. My losses are huge, but when it affects your daily life then it’s time to call it quits. Personally I am out at 30. Good luck to those who believe. I have enjoyed reading the posts over the last few years. I truly hope MM gets what’s coming.

That would be the dream, after 3 years invested here. I am willing to move on @ 65-70. Sooner the better. Sadly I see this stagnated for a long time ahead. The trap was set months if not years ago.

Ditto, I’m @ 67. Worst investment I have made in 20 years. First chance I am out.

I feel your pain, I’m £37k down in the same timeframe.

Lost on CINE also, having convinced myself 4 years ago they would not go bust. Hey Ho, tricky decisions ahead but I think I will hold short term. Same happened last year during the Liz Truss months, and by Christmas the situation improved. Fundamentals look sound to me, but having lost a similar amount on CINE it’s a a long haul back now.

Money well spent.

Interesting on recent YouTube video, Mooky stated he was in Manhattan early Dec. Maybe paving way for Regal float, in NY. I would not be surprised to see this get some traction soon. Let’s see.

I have called this wrong like many others, and as a result I’m 60k down. I intend to wait for comment from the management after which I will make a call. As mentioned other opportunities may prove more fruitful short term. I don’t want to sell CINE, but my positivity for the company is diminishing. Can this bad luck continue for CINE ? Have they dug a hole too deep now to escape from? Not sure.

The movie slate is encouraging, my concern is that the SP will be kept artificially low for the duration of the appeal. As HNS77 states this could be 18 months. So we probably have the breaks on throughout this period. To be honest if we achieve 60-70p given the current situation it is a positive for me. Hears hopeful for better days in 22.

One hopes that the management had a mitigation plan in place in the event of a court loss . Having invested at the peak, watched the court case, and read the verdict. Surely any senior management team will $billions at stack must have covered this eventuality. If not it would be a shocking oversight of negligence. Still in and hoping for at least 45-50 by March. No choice really.

Has anyone been to the cinema this weekend, feedback of general attendance welcome. Having visited Cineworld Solihull, 5pm on Saturday attendance looked reasonable, staff said the day was not a total wipe out. Good to understand other numbers. A steady low attendance is better than closed. Attendance in US at 50-60% currently in CA, returned from there last week. Work related but also checked out several cinema’s and asked locals.

Personally if we lose I cannot see a hard SP collapse. Look at PFC, they admitted fraud in court and the SP went massively up. Provided costs plus fine are manageable, I think we will be fine. Important issue is the case is over, and the CINE team can concentrate on making profit. I see SP increase Q1, 2022. Until then we have to weather the storm, unfortunately. I’m down £35k, there are lots of us with frail nerves here. Can’t see them going bust, so only checking SP weekly. This is a long haul trip.

New to this site, but I have a long term investment strategy. I also believe in Cine and the management. If we stabilise around 75 for several weeks in my opinion it’s a short term win. We need broker rating increase, to follow a positive outcome on court case. Positive for me, is less than a 100 million fine plus court costs. It will be a nail biting finale.
