Can't see it dropping much below 200 to be fair

This looks a good opportunity at 200, I'm watching and will make an entry. What's this take of 185 ?

Fancy that 2 billion more loss than expected and the sp flies!! Glad I didn't short it now. It's good for you guys holding should give some extra profit

What's you're View on the Ftse100 now ? It's very tempting to open a short at these levels. I'm thinking of opening on with a stop loss at around 7500

I'm the same Jack, being ultra cautious in 2017 and a couple of silly trades notably a 313 long in Glencore which as being underwater for a month now. Not exiting itv and now down with that so just looking for recovery at the moment. It's annoying but I'm still in profit

Mr Wolf---- I've heard of the Elliot Wave but don't fully understand it yet. A new one I watch is the Mc Guinley Dynamic watching for the 8 and 34 dema crossing it. There only indicators and not right all the time but when mixed with fundamentals and economic news it helps.

Sorry Mr Wolf cant help as im new to TA and only doing Mac D and RSI at the moment. It looks like further downside from what i can see. I'm looking for a position but not yet, anything sub 200 and il jump in. The problem with this share is it seems to gap up at open occasionally but it's usually when financials are up as an industry, it's not following the FTSE really.

Glad I'm out of this share, it's just one scandal to the next.

Midas, I run a business and am office based so I'm near a screen most of the day. I've made £250ish average in 2017. It was nearer £400 but last 5 weeks I've not done much trading so it's brought average down. I think I could make a living out of it but wouldn't fancy the pressure yet. As my income comes from elsewhere it's just a bonus and I've no pressure to spreadbet when I don't want to.

I just take profits on small amounts I'm winning on over 80 of my trades but that's because I'm careful and close for as little as £5 if I feel it's a bad trade. You know the ones where it's constantly underwater then dips in and out of tiny profit, I close them and move on. Do you do this for a living or you have other income ? How much do you make on average from spreadbetting per week ?

I have real shares in Isa account with HL. Spreadbetting just brings in a side income. I started with £1k and turned that into £3k in less than 3 months. I average about £250/£300 per week profit and draw it back to my bank. Tend to go for lower swings now that the bigger £pp bets. I always is a guaranteed stop loss, one day it will save a fortune

Midas, well I've done up to £300 pp with IG but that's the most they would allow and I had £7k in the account then. I didn't think they went up to £1000pp. I thought you were just taking the p1ss but If not then I apologise

Yeah Midas, and on my drive I currently have a Buggati veyron and La Ferrari. I tend to use the Rolls for everyday drives but prefer the G6 for longer hauls....
