Tony, i've been in this forever with an average of 9p which was in the red for most of that time and I have never understood the way the share price reacts to anything. I think the main thing is number of shares for trading; 21% of ordinary shares in issue were not in public hands so pensions, directors etc, 41% are holders of over 3% and I've never been able to find out any funds that hold substantial holdings of less than that 3% - if anyone knows please link. Volume is low in value and it feels like it is locked down. If you look back over charts and see the last rights issue at 6p the share price pretty much stayed under that for 3 years and I'd bought a big chunk of my holding just before and I thought I might lose it all but stubborness meant I have never sold any just accumulated. I have done well on my Fresnillo almost catching the recent low and I was looking to add some here, I was convinced we were going to hit a triple bottom for the year at 11.9 this week but the surge in Gold seems to have halted the drop if not actually caused it to rise. I console myself that when ready those in control will let it multiply and I'm not selling any before 45p and that might be a while
Quarterly Production Results are set for week commencing 18th October, previous quarter was 19th July so could be tomorrow.
Production so far this year is 28,842 oz and companies full year production guidance is 60,000 – 65,000 oz so I make that 15,579 to 18,709 oz to keep within their projection using equal production for final quarters for calculation. After the problems in last quarter personally will be satisfied if they meet guidance

It's a good article and explains the changes well but as it says the changes don't apply to the massive London market until 01/01/2022 so i'm not expecting much to happen on Monday except maybe a drop in silver and of course continued drop in Fres and yes I own loads of this dog averaging over 1000 :(
Perhaps a look at renumeration over a longer period would be fairer analysis? I remember Directors waiving salaries for a year or possibly 2 and recieving shares. Had a quick look and EZ salary going back to 2017 gone from nothing to ( rough figures check for yourself) 120,00 , 290,000, 320,000, 390,000 in US$. plus bonus shares. Directors always come in for flack when they sell but I don't think it's reasonable to expect them to keep them until they retire, they may well address the issue at the AGM, timing as such seems exemplary to me fwiw I continue to hold and will add some to my ISA so i'm hoping share price stays at this level or lower until 7th April GL to all holders
Fair enough. Nice if he could take a peek at the VAT situation

They are still listed as holding 5.7% on website which has to be updated every six months http://www.shantagold.com/investors/stock-share-information/
So they have accumulated up to about 9% and sold to just under 5% which is the threshold to enact a TR-1.
Nice work if you can get it. Not sure they needed to issue every % change - are they a MM? that would exempt.
BTW from someone who has accumulated SHG since 2012, this is a new experience as I have a notional profit for the first time in 2020, my average 0.094, not planning on selling anytime soon. I'm a keen reader but this my first post so apologies if I've understood that incorrectly GL
