Probably reached fair value tbf - SML has been my least volatile share over this absolute crisis of a budget - FTSE is bricking it, just wish I had some spare cash to chuck in!

Don't get me wrong i'm still bullish on this SP - i just think that what might happen is that news on Redmoor (grant funding, drilling finds etc (They're currently hiring for a senior geologist) will increase SP, enough to improve the market cap to a sizable level where we can get more favourable rates for borrowing > LCCM production. Contrary to my opinion at the start of the year I now believe that Redmoor will see this SP move earlier than LCCM, i believe that they're stuck between funding talks & further PEPR progress.

RE LCCM I am unsure as to whether they've submitted the second PEPR though? "IE the copy and paste exercise" would of been announced by now - I believe that they're waiting on finance before submitting; maybe the submission costs for the transitional ore is high/a liability they don't want to take without finance first and then on the flip side no one wants to finance without the full PEPR... might be a bit of a stalemate in the data room.

I get the feeling now that effort is now being poured into Redmoor - I think if Kamikwasi can keep his seat he'll start sending some sterling to mines in Cornwall as he fronted the critical minerals strategy a few months ago. Local supply chains would help stem inflation without the need to drastically increase interest rates; Just needs to quickly repair a crashing UK economy first and then I'm sure it'll be second on his list

Lupi I think sub 0.3p is the sweet spot right now - wouldn't buy any higher

Great article - to be fair this is something that Kwasi advocates strongly for- I imagine it's part of his plan already but he needs to get through this 'mini' budget first

P2CR - agree with your frustration... if you listen to the vox podcast (peter wale) on 8th of september "funding talks are ongoing; some more advanced than others" - I think RAB capital throwing their hat in is further formal validation for these funders that we may be on to something here and may promote interest to get their foot in the door.

The DDC presentation is good, the mining lease area is huge and they have identified further tin deposits in granite upwellings to the west of redmoor - hitting high grades of 1% Sn and from the modelling it looks very close to the surface (higher than the redmoor resource) which will be easier to access.

I also listened to that podcast someone posted in yesterday and it sounds like RAB's in it for Redmoor; I really think with the Tory's taking a strong stance on local UK resource we could see funding Redmoor's way soon and this DDC lark is going to be so important when they come to consider grant locations.

Yep - a few new big holders might crack the whip and request a switch up in management to promote SP increase - lots of upsides to be had

Thanks prop - had a scan through and can't really see anything significant, no ETA on when the receivership will close and current balance of $7.5m - I think they quite like stringing it out to be fair, keeping those legal fees coming in

well Cornwall Resources are speaking at a critical minerals talk tomorrow; might spur some more interest.

I'm anticipating a fall back down to mid-high 0.3's where we'll have a new base level and then hopefully news from LCCM, Redmoor or even a small payout from Brenda will send us over the 0.5's.

The good thing is having 3 avenues for positive news to come in from; i don't think the newsflow for the current assets can get much worse from here (touching the wood of my desk); as in the only bad thing that can come in from LCCM is that funding talks are still ongoing (which they currently are), we get nothing from Brenda (which we currently don't have & have been told not to expect anything from) and we have to wait more for grant funding for Redmoor; so likely to be up from here IMO

IMO with this big energy bail out (which might send inflation through the roof) inflation will have to be sorted in the UK through other means - increasing local supply and using native resources which seems to be within Kwasi's interests - will be an interesting year for SML

Ticking up on the RAB capital interest - thing is there's LCCM and now this interest in Redmoor; originally excited about LCCM; I really think production at Redmoor stands a good chance to be escalated and I think that's why RAB's thrown thier hat into the ring; Kwasi Kwarteng released the critical minerals list earlier this year and has now been appointed as Chancellor to Liz - funding Cornwall's way seems so likely now

I thought they were obliged to RNS anything that impacts the SP?
