Is a near 15% drop in the share price a bit of an over reaction to this news !?

Had the same feeling myself ...all sounding positive on the surface but with the feeling we've been here before so treat what AV says with a large dose of scepticism. So certainly won't be making any further investments in ATM until I see the AV start to deliver on his promises.

With the share price so far up today as others have said on here it does make me wonder whether AV has given the new investors the nod and wink there's some positive news upcoming. Although that said the last audited accounts did have a note regarding going concern and the company would need to raise additional funds. I just hope this isn't another jam tomorrow story where AV over promises and under delivers !

Peking, Thanks for that info as don't have access to ATM's broker notes....not very helpful that even ATM's nominated broker don't have a view on the Co's finances or model for results going forwards.

As such I wouldn't expect anyone else too, save for a finger in the air job by various PI's and as you say 'f....g useless' explains a lot !

Would echo what both Peking and Nesty have said on this and would add if the company is making decent profits and cash flow at these tin prices, shouldn't they be releasing an RNS stating that results will be above management / market expectations on current tin prices and above $40k since early December ? Or has the house broker upgraded forecasts which the PI's don't have access to ?

Think until ATM get their act together at UIS and start making decent profits / cashflow the SP is not going to move upwards by much.

Seems to be par for the course...positive news reported by the Co there's an initial jump in the SP only for it to fall back down again ! It would never surprise me in the SP closes down on the day. Would like to think that at some point positive updates will start to translate into a much higher SP although obviously the management will have to play their part in the execution rather than over exuberant messaging from AV .

Thought the results looked pretty good so why the share price has dropped by 5% at the time of writing this a bit of a mystery to me !

Has anyone got any clues to the drop ?

TD2 completely agree with your comments on this as think Andrada should be releasing a statement through RNS with more detail given the increase we've seen in the Tin price over the past few months which you'd have thought would be greatly improving ATM's financial position and with it current market expectations. I hope this isn't another one of AV's over exuberant comments which turn out to be nothing more than hopeful words !

Th Co certainly needs the Tin price to be this elevated as the Going Concern note in the interim financials has to be a seen as a red flag. So one has to hope that the Tin price stays at these levels or higher for some months to come. Am really disappointed with how the company has developed or should I say not developed over the past several years with the current Gaontagab situation another to add to the list of over promising and under delivering by AV.

Whilst I still have a holding and hope things turn out fine I did reduce quite significantly recently and will only jump back in when we get something concrete in the way of good news even if that means missing out on a jump in the share price.

Very interesting read and thanks for highlighting this however if they are significantly behind schedule with the C12 upgrade surely this would be considered price sensitive information and should be communicated to the market asap ?

Feel the communication from ATM and AV is pretty poor at times with either over exuberant pronouncements from AV "Eye watering offers for its Lithium interests" ,diddly squat on the upgrading of production facilities....if nothing untoward has happened the just say "The upgrade programme remains on track etc etc" , and saying the jig plant is 12% complete is quite meaningless....just give a timeline when it'll be up and running .

The uptick in the Tin price is obviously positive however think what will really propel the SP is if the company demonstrates the C12 upgrade is on budget/ plan plus positive news on lithium sales. That said would rather AV under promised over delivered rather than some of his over exuberant comments.

Agree with the sentiments posted on this. It is an appalling look for directors to sell at this point and am not impressed with the excuse it was to pay a tax bill. Coming so soon after the year end you do have to wonder whether there's bad / negative news on the way i.e. delays to the C12 expansion plan.... cost overruns etc. Having looked back, ATM updated the market on 27/04/24 on FY24 Ops so the directors would be fully aware of what's to come.

Think it would help if we had some idea on the expected timescales for regulatory approval by the Namibian government....is it months or even years ?

Wouldn't disagree with those sentiments ....would rather AV under promised and over-delivered instead of hearing his over exuberance which I think is one of the reasons for the share price languishing where it is now.

My share purchase yesterday through my Halifax share account was showing as a sell and given the share price went up yesterday was wondering how many other share buys are showing as sells on the basis that if the volume of share buys exceeds share sells then the share price should go up. Or is that just naïve thinking !?

Thanks for posting this as highlights that this is a general market negative view towards the pharma sector and the fall in HVO's SP...disappointing as it is to shareholders... is not something specific to HVO ..... even if some on here would have us believe there are some serious skeleton's in the cupboard.

Probably tempting fate here but maybe a floor in the SP was reached yesterday with buyers outweighing sellers by some margin and that trend has continued today.

According to Stockopedia they are due to announce half year results on the 27th November and they announced last years half year results around this time so hopefully some positive news or rather nothing negative to justify the share price fall !
