The rally was undoubtedly fuelled by market relief that they've had a successful raise... The share is now dropping back as people use the recent rise to take profits...

It will be interesting to see where this moves to once the new shares are admitted to trading in July. Fundamentally there's value here and news from the U.S is good.

They now need to hunker down and make good stuff happen!

Oh yeah absolutely the offer is still open until this pm (unless closed early).

My point was people are speculating that the share is jumping as people are buying in for the 1st time to become eligible for the open offer. This can't be true now, as anyone buying today (even if online), won't technically be a shareholder until Tuesday as the trade won't settle until then.

Tbh I'm kind of glad they haven't annonced early closure to the offer... Suggests there's still hope...

Anyone buying now will not qualify for the retail offer. Settlement on the exchange is T+2 so if you buy today you're not a holder until Tuesday.

Regardless, this is bouncing hard on a good U.S update, strong appointments and a clearer plan with financing threat lifted. I honestly think this won't move that much to any downside after the placing as dilution at this level is surely baked in. The only question is will people keep their placing shares.

Will be interesting to see the placing numbers this arvo.

Surely at these values there must be SOME value in he business. I get that the balance sheet is awful but the measures in the budget don't at least start until April. This leaves the company some time to figure out its next steps.

I have to say I have to agree with this. Market value is far too low vs order book. I think the lenders will want some sort of return. Sidara seem receptive and have made the initial offer. Personally I can't see it being done at 35p.

Bidders are right to wait until accounting is sorted. Why would you show your hand before? Seen more distressed companies go for more. All a personal opinion of course...
