Roger - What a great post! This and many other boards turn into a playground for the extreme on both sides. The sensible become isolated and stop or simply don't bother posting.

Speel - i think your comments and intentions are admirable. Unfortunately this and other boards have become filled with extremes at both ends and those with sensible discussions to bring to the table have been drowned out. When i joined the LSE a year ago I found the discussions both informative and well researched. Now, I all to often, see comments that are clearly meant to ramp or de-ramp. I try my best to take positives and negatives seriously when i think the posts are genuine investors, and then do my own research based on this. Still here, still a little in profit and now understanding longer term a little better.

Poptimist - I am Relatively New to investing in shares. I bought into ARB last year at a very decent level i think. Averaging in the early 90p i am able to afford a smile at what i see on here a lot of the time. It is a rollercoaster of a ride and my investment is not going to change my life but hey it will give me a few more holidays when the fun really starts. In no rush.
