Prob the fact Russia has turned off the gas taps and IOG is sitting on a shed load of the stuff
Easy to get distracted by short term frustrations here, fact is more by luck than judgement, IOG has potential goldmine, (grimly) supply problems are not going away and will likely get worse: “Gas shortages across Europe are likely to last for several winters to come, the chief executive of Shell said today”. Whether by finally maximising and adding to assets or (more likely imho a T/O) Iog shares are worth far more than 29p on any measure
Shorteverything seems to have borrowed his mum’s big book of trolling for beginners
As we know Shandy they are negative for a reason - either talking down confidence to get themselves or someone else an entry price, or harbouring grudges about losses. There is nothing that has happened here to suggest that the turnaround begun by CF will fail to lead to a profitable company with great growth prospects and a significant rerate. Big pharma is now paying £10m a shot for Hvivo services. The detailed database for disease progression in influenza alone is unique - dating back seventy years up to the present moment - and becoming more lucrative all the time imho. The day to day of challenge studies is expanding according to plan, with great capacity to scale up. I have a strong sense that a Nasdaq listing is pending, following September results. You can either listen to the barely literate trolls, or look at the company's unique place in the market and its corresponding order book. I know which is my preference. DYOR.
forgive me for being dumb but aren't LOG shares in the hands of the administrator? Surely their strategy will be discussed with the board?
Perfect time to buy therefore..
moaners vs multiple million contracts, never seems too hard an investment equation to work out. The US big pharma race to establish flu (and covid and no doubt monkey pox etc) vaccine market share is speeding up. Only Orph can currently and for the foreseeable future assist this acceleration with challenge trials. Challenge will, imho, quickly be seen as a new key stage for all serious players. Insane at these prices, but dyor
I'm afraid there might be a few more like this to come in the run up to that nasdaq listing...
Vaxart is Hvivo partner in current development of Omicron challenge trial, world first etc For me, the presentation gives an indication of their R&D commitment and innovation. Seem like a good match in what could prove a very lucrative development for OO.
with forward gas prices approaching £5 and the mcap here ludicrously low in relation to likely revenue, hard to imagine there won't be takers circling for the LOG chunk, with a view to T/O. Administrators must have a price in mind (75p?) No brainer surely.
You seem to have spent a glorious midsummer Saturday evening going through my dull posting history Bob, how sad is that? And all to show that if it was good value at 41 it’s a cracking buy now, atb
ditto that. The board has become a casting couch for Grumpy Old Men. Meanwhile, the company, if not the share price so far, goes from strength to strength. Spending the summer posting daily bitterness on an anonymous message board when you've lost a few quid on a share you are no longer invested in is a long way from my idea of fun, but what ever floats your boat I guess.
red flags? not unless you mean revenue up, first time ebitda profitable, unique offer in exponentially growing and profoundly important market, huge international reach, rich data flow, sound management, good communication, full order book, steady contract flow, new challenge offers, symbiosis, high potential spinoffs, but hey, DYOR.
Already is one, called the scientific method
You are embarrassing yourself Karlo, ??
they look like pretty slim returns though stt1 in what is a crowded market. very hard to see what TLY's USP is, hence the stagnant sp.
good points noel pro, but obviously you are missing the key one that a few folk on here don't want the share price to recover, they want to talk it down and spread mistrust to make their ten per cents, value will out in the end
Or, from spring to summer they have been selling gas at 3.5x original projection. Hard to imagine autumn and winter of Putin and sanctions will see any price drop-off, quite the reverse. With other reserves coming online, this can only be a (long overdue) cash machine imho. Surely there will be an offer to buyout LOG at these prices, or a T/O.
You really find numbers hard don’t you JG?
https://amp.theguardian.com/world/2022/jul/03/uk-health-chiefs-brace-for-bumpy-ride-amid-fears-over-covid-wave
Always pays to read to the end JG: "COVID spreads a lot faster and more easily than the flu, meaning that it can still produce a lot more infections. Two viruses may be equally lethal on an individual level, but if one infects a lot more individuals, it will kill a lot more individuals. A small percentage of a really big number is still a big number. That largely explains why this winter’s overall death toll in England from respiratory illness was still 50 percent higher than during a typical flu season.
