B shares are treated as capital for tax purposes C shares are treated as income for tax purposes If you want the cash dividend C then you should opt for it. These boards are very good (mostly) with information and opinions but at the end of the day it is your call. My circumstances are similar to yours but I don't want the cash lol! GLA

Depends why you bought in. Long term - take the dividend income in the form of new shares and up your future dividend returns. Short term take the cash and buy elsewhere. DYOR - future dividends are outlined on their web site - for yield they look like a reasonable long term hold to me - a bit dubious about future growth though. Either way you get 75p each.
