Interesting to see the above has taken part in fund raising. Should have a good eye for a small company. Not sure what success/failure has been like recently. Think he may be involved in Blinkz and Cupid. Not sure I view this in same bracket
3 new contracts in recent weeks demonstrate that the company is making progress and diminishes prospect of 2nd profit warning. Revenues will start next year
It's useful for him to have switched firms in this case as he's got a rather different book cost on his holding this time around! A good endorsement and a backer who would pony up more cash if the need arose although am taking he view that that now shouldn't happen before bus turns profitable. He can afford to go to zero on such holdings though. Interested to hear who else took up shares. Board should be filling their boots as best they can
Has anyone else noticed steady improvement here. No earnings update expected for a little while. Substantial holding declaration last week was notable. zwanziger family trust represents the interests of ex chief exec of Alere. Large US diagnostics firm.
I got the announcements through investegate. Make sure you use HALO epic rather than HAL
up 200% since the bottom so far but no indication of interest on this board. Imagine that RHPS cant bring themselves to mention the company. Hopefully i am vindicated in thinking the nadir has been passed.
pleased that cash raising removes one major risk facing the business. interesting that cash wasnt raised at a large discount and would also be interested to know who participated in the placing.
Dammit! Was hoping for more time to add to my holding. Illiquidity means it could move up pretty sharply with only modest demand
Looking forward to update on Monday. Any Russian fears might be more about loss of revenues there rather than currency depreciation. If sterling strength is partly to blame I am certainly a buyer as don't see that persisting for too long
I see around 10% of co traded today. Look forward to finding out why
Having been burnt on concept stocks in the past I am pleased to see CAP being paid for their work. A model that Ricardo follows. The jam could be a long time coming given the very long development cycle for HGVs. Worth holding both this and Ricardo. R would likely wait and let CAP shareholders take development risk before buying the co if it properly enters adoption phase. I prefer gas as a long term fuel option but Tesla's sharing of patents is a key competitive move
The £1m did smack of the sort of amount that you would raise to demonstrate short term solvency to secure a deal. Think I posted as much at the time but didn't buy more. Hats off to those that took the plunge. Tech sounds interesting if at concept end of the spectrum at mo
If you read notes. They have enough cash to see them through the year but they are obliged to caution on risks if things don't go to plan. Considering raising cash in near future. Hope they could get some form of credit line or convertible issue rather than equity issuance at current levels. Director dealing will be a barometer.
Solid progress. Have already largely declared H1 results. Key thing is current trading and not needing any more cash
Whilst a fan of the co why can't they wait until tomorrow to release good news? Hmmm. That said they do have form in this regard
Russia accounts for 6% of earnings. Whilst i appreciate that this should give rise to a bit of downside i think that the kicking is excessive. Will therefore be adding in due course.
definitely making decent progress. the large decrease in operating expenses must have dropped break even earnings level quite considerably. the US pools sector appears destined to offer significant 2nd half weighting which is reasonable given that it covers the pool season. orders for this division were booked late in the 1st half last year..and flagged up to flatter otherwise disappointing figures. i imagine that they could still do with a bit more cash to see them through. I'm a little concerned that they are selling on Amazon. Whilst this can offer higher sales payment terms are painful for suppliers that need a quick capital cycle. could also exert downward pressure on pricing across the board as that's what Amazon does. indications are that drinking water will progress strongly from current levels.
given that they've got chunky losses in the pipeline for the next couple of years this wont be the last time they come back for cash. on the upside, a stronger capital position would be of great assistance if negotiating deals. mind you, management have hardly taken the opportunity to fill their boots.
sorry. posted on wrong company page. was referring to another company
Cannacord have to be quite annoyed that they pressed the send button on their detailed report just as the news came out. i take this as being more about growing pains than a serious issue. the management do have egg on their faces as it comes so soon after the acquisition but could they have anticipated that it was going to happen?
