trillsg, I'm no chemist, but water can dissolve salt.........sea water.......! it can't dissolve metals, without a lot of energy....... heat...! Chemicals can, acid, and in the future ammonia,(this is because the energy is locked into to the solvent) as it is reusable, clean, cheap, environmentally friendly, lardyda da da, If if cost more to saturate metal, in a water solution, surely the whole process has no beginning....?
