I know how Hummingbird got their funding since I came in on the 22p placing in June 2016 and I know the people behind Taurus Funds in Australia. Looks like dividends might flow in 2020 if not 2019 and expecting rerating long before then. Where will KEFI be.....just waiting to see the various deals that HAA has up his sleeve and hoping that he is at Mines and Money this month ! I note that Jim Taylor of respected RFC Ambrian has reduced his target price.

Matt.....not sure what it will cost to get full JORC but could be anything from $3 million to $5 million. Trouble is no interesting drill holes for last 12 months so could be more. All in drilling costs and assaying for DD probably $150/$200 per metre but happy to be corrected. Need to have at least 1.2 million ounces to start PEA for 80k to 100k ozs per annum. IF there is an equity raise I would suggest that it will be done at sub 4p. Largest trade today at 4.18p.

I am trying to get in at under 4p but only when I see the terms of the debt and equity financing required. Once construction is underway then nothing to be done for 24 months in any event but might top up during that period depending on gold price and progress.

You have to be blind not to see that KEFI is a dog of a share at the moment and I will continue to post as I see fit. Remember 10p in old money before the 17:1 consolidation ? Companies with strong management and very good projects have no trouble getting financed in short order. Hummingbird and Berkeley spring to mind as well as a private developer that I hear today will list in Spring next year in first production. Raided $70 million under the radar from a couple of instos in a couple of months.

Before I invest in anything on AIM , I like to meet the CEO and other directors if possible at least twice and I have done this with KEFI already. I cannot advise what is a good time to get in but I am still waiting for clarification on the overall funding package. This has been dragging on for ages. Look at how Berkeley Energia tied up a financing on its Salamanca uranium project in Spain with 16 year lows in the price of uranium. Done and dusted within 6 months I believe.

DanBrown........It is the equity part of the overall capex funding that could be a big dilution issue. It was a good 18 months ago that all these bankers were supposedly over KEFI like a rash. I met HAA in Cape Town in early Feb again. Big dilution is coming either by massive share issue at 3.5p to 4p or third part taking a big chunk of the project. IMHO

Until funding route is crystal clear with third party verification I still maintain that there is a possibility that another equity raise might be required before the end of this quarter. Major gold companies want at least 2 million ounces in the inferred category and I spoke to many majors operating in West Africa in Cape Town earlier this year talking about a project in Cote D'Ivoire with just shy of a million ounces. They would laugh at what SULA has at present and again a TARGET is just that and meaningless at present. I apologise for suggesting that yesterday trades would be seen at sub .9 but it happened this morning. Carry on dreaming !

I suspect that the drilling company might have been behind this . A nothing RNS gives a short term lift in share price partly because of some LTH's being fooled yet again and again and again so that the drillers could hit the market with a number of shares after 4pm . I expect some shares to trade sub .9 p today. When you have tens of millions of shares to divest even.1p or .2p helps !
