Not often, but sometimes, we hear people criticise the BOD for the poor performance of our share price. There is no doubt the share price has performed very poorly the last few years, but from the point RG retired as CEO, and after numerous attempts (we will never how many) to finalise a commercial deal, it seems obvious in retrospect we were set for 2/3 years of clinical development in all platforms.
To facilitate this we expanded our staffing levels (as promised by JC) from 11/12 to 23, 12 of which who hold Phds. So is it incompetence from the BOD? as some have stated, or just the reality of timelines for two platforms to reach the gold standard we are hoping to achieve from forthcoming trials.
I have long believed the latter, and the performance of the share price recently seems to me to reflect the progress we have made, the reputation of Lindy in the Oncology World, and the enormous potential in our pipelines which is further boosted by a market that at last values the immuno oncology market so highly. Timing!!!
I for one am clapping my hands, we have had to endure some hard times it is IMHO that now we have so much to look forward too, and I am very excited.
I remember only too well three months ago my P/F showing just over £8k from an investment of just under £32k, today it showed £19,600 when I woke around 2, and I didn"t buy more during that period. I trust there are numerous newbies here who have done very well, and for the numerous LTH there P/Fs will reflect mine, Well done to all of us. How far can we go?? It doesn"t bear thinking about, but yes enjoy the moments, we have all been through the ones we prefer to forget.
Have a good weekend all, well done and hopefully next week we just might hear about Patient Recruitment and Dosing for the SCIB1 trial. I for one cannot wait. ATB
