Crumbs yep I am sure that is the case again, whilst it is never good IMHO to see a big seller at 5.9p, it is good to see those shares taken by what seems to be a new buyer.

Turned out to be a really good day yesterday for me, now under the wing of a cardioligist where there was a great rappore. On reading my past history he said he was honoured to still see me here and he had read my whole history there for 7 years. Impressed. Seeing him soon for more tests and what was very interesting was the difference between cardiology and oncology.

In Oncology every month a new treatment is Approved, but in Cardiology maybe medication wise just three different medications in five years have come to the market, so we have started the traditional road of echocardiograms, ECGs, blood and heart function for now and we will see where we are next month. So a good day was had and for me important to know i have done every thing i can to hopefully enjoy better health for a few more years to come, and damnit see a decent return here!!!

Just one thing crumbs you mentioned it was unlikely we would see the U.S. arm to the SCIB1 trial, not so sure of that myself, so lets see.

Bobbust, to your earlier post, yes it has been strange on level 2, MMs making it as confusing as possible, but can say with a fair bit of certainty the 7.67m trade at 6p was a buy, and lets face someone has invested £490k in us. If both were sells the SPP would have really fallen, but what they show as being taken is way out. Again I would ay with good news we could rise back to 10p as easily as we have fallen to 5.5p. Read some really good posts today, hope, timelines, newmembers of staff attracted to us (why), funding and I for one will remain positive for eventual outcomes.

Critisizing is easy, constructive criticism much that harder but that is the one i can relate to, not just moans about the SP.

Lets not forget when we hit 3p how we bounced back to 10p in very short time, just looking forward to where we can go on very good news. Until then happy to ley the BOD continue as they are and lets hope they get the luck needed for it all to fall together nicely. ATB

Another pretty frustrating week here, especially after those trades on Wednesday for me. Was trying to unravel whether they were buys and sells and the cancelled trade never reappeared here, thanks to Bermuda and McBlue for posting the FT link where it was posted. Funny thing was had the sell had been a buy it worked out if it was Vulpes at exactly a 3.33% holding which would in Vulpes case have takem to a 20% holding. From highs to lows eh, yes I was disappointed with that.

Always encouraging to see another new quality appointment, we seem to be attracting a few. We seem to have another seller in our wakes, we can only hope for good news, nobody knows when.

Off to see my cardioligist now, first time for nearly three years, just couldn"t handle it all fighting the other, but five months on now from my last hospital appointment in the mood to try and do something there. I think they call it refreshed and eager to see now if there is anything they can do more.

So have a good weekend all, lets fight the good fight and hope before the year ends we can get some good news to see us into next year. Take care all. ATB

Mabel, refreshing to read an honest opinion. You are not alone in those thoughts by any means, and particularly I have considered the points you raise, which were fuelled 8 years ago by a Senior Consultant I spoke to 8 years ago accompaning my late mother to a hospital appointment, in relation to Pharmas and small Biotechs.

Interestingly though Scancell have never even suggested having a cure, was it not RG that said our aim is to treat cancer as a chronic condition. I have only read on two occasions the word cure. One was in a recent TV Documentary where James Allison, the Nobel Prize winner said we are not too far away from being able to use the word cure, what he meant by not too far away I have no idea.

The other was on another Biotech BB where many claimed a cure, even after failing to meet primary endpoints in trial, lol.

I feel confident we will find our level in the Cancer chain, and see a very good return (eventually) but yes of course it is very high risk. ATB and Take Care

Yes, the trial has started. We are in the process of enrolling six patients to begin with, and at present we are awaiting news of a patient who has been dosed.

The U.S arm of the trial is still waiting the FDAs Approval so we have decided to withdraw the IND for now, and resubmit it at the earlist opportunity when the FDA is satisfied to give Approval to Ichor, makers of the Tri Grid Delivery System .

Currently only one center (Nottingham) is running the trial as it has been delayed for so long waiting for FDA Approval, we decided to begin the U.K. arm first, and as I say currently enrolling. We believe enrollment is taking longer than expected and we are awaiting news from Scancell as to patient enrollment, hence the SP has fallen from a peak of 10p a few months ago to the SP today. Check out the recent RNSs on the SCIB1 trial situation. Hope that helps and there is plenty of irons in the fire with a new third platform, again there is an RNS quite recently on the subject. GL

For the SCIB2 Trial being run by CRUK, we are not using electrocorporation as before, but nanodelivery. Will leave it to the science guys to explain it better in relation to the links we posted. Take care.

Yes, looking back I had a similar conversation which left me believing the same. Think thats a bit harsh about CH, but he certainly put his foot in it a few times with raising expectations of news and timelines which caused many to make serious errors of judgement. He seems to have learnt from that and lately replies with not a lot to do with the question.

That is why I asked the other day what exactly he does, he seemed to have no idea of wordings in RNSs, and was hardly an accomplished speaker when he first joined, but he seems along with his understanding of our science to have greatly improved there too. I have no issue in us paying top dollar for senior positions and by doing so we seem to have attracted some very experienced members of staff as a result of that, but for some serious gaffes in the beginning I would never have given much thought to his 150k p.a. salary. and perks .

Truth be known I had a lot of time for RG, and i am hoping CH is a very good peoples person at opening doors with pretty serious companies and in his more recent interviews and presentations I thought he had improved immensely along with his knowledge of Scancell.

Again we are told nothing until such time as we enter a collaboration . Yes it seems a very mutually beneficial opportunity for all parties IMHO

Seems ages ago crumbs, but I have always thought with China growing hugely in the Oncology ,arket that the Immunobody Platform could well fit the need for treatments to the Chinese people at a very competive price??
