Technology Daily's insight: London AIM listed Enables IT is in the final stages of securing a major contract win with UK based supermarket Asda for its Cloud IT and managed services. The deal is said to be around £15m over a 5 year period, which would pull in up to £3m per annum for the group. With EIT's already strong links to the United States, a link up with Asda's parent company Walmart could be next on the agenda. With Walmarts China expansion this could even create an Asian market. EIT has said it is looking forward to 2015, the Board remains encouraged by the on-going shift in market dynamics towards cloud-based IT services in the US and UK. The Group has continued to further invest in sales and marketing during the first half of the new financial year, particularly in respect of sales personnel, to ensure Enables IT capitalises on the revenue opportunity.
