My local CARD shop was absolutely heaving! Iam so pleased that I am invested here. On reopening earlier in the year loads of people caught up on deleyed event's which I believe has helped CARD catch up and now it looks like a bumper Christmas! It reminds me of what happened to GREGGS when they reopened. They are also a nation's favourite just like CARD :) All my own opinion of course.

Well Folks, Just popped into the very small Arnison center store. I counted 23 people in this small store. All 3 tills fully operational.
Looks good to me! :)

Good news this director buy. It's no coincidence that the company released a trading update just a few days before the director bought shares. Bodes well for the future. All my own opinion of course :)

Yes Rox, It was stressful at the time but happy memories now.
Me and my mate back then used to take turns buying the Shares Magazine. For a while everything tipped back then used to go up! So we would buy on the back of the magazine tip. No research, no camping out outside of shops or businesses. At one time I was 8x up on my original investment. Then bang wham! It all disappeared.
Yes learned a lot from the experience:)

I can remember the Dot com boom and bust as I am of a certain age! It was exciting being allowed to trade a buy on T+10 and sell on T+5 hahaaa. Then the bubble burst. I remember watching cefax waiting for the pages to come round to check the share price. Then the panic attacks as prices dropped like a stone and being on the phone to the broker trying to sell!
Crazy days indeed ??

Hi Rox, That's so funny the story about Greggs! It's got me thinking about the countless times recently that I have been asked to take my wife to Marks and Spencers at the Arnison and have been only too willing to take her because it was an opportunity to sit outside and watch people going in and out of Card factory. I obviously wasn't watching M&S or listening to my wife when she was saying how busy it was since Debenhams, Outfit, Dorothy Perkins and Burton disappeared from the high street!!

Very interesting Roxbury, I would assume that if they are hitting their targets then the small shop is viable. On that basis the bigger busier shops must be doing really well! By the way I was in the Gilesgate shop yesterday and trade was brisk and balloons were being filled up. Looking forward to the January update :)

It was the same yesterday at the West Auckland store. Hopefully they are just restocking their displays for Christmas! :)

Hi All, I am not worried by the recent drop in the share price. I happened to be in the Galleries Washington. RoxburyHouses stomping ground. I counted 29 yes 29 customers in the store! It bodes well in my opinion! Topping up today:)

Hi Rox, I see the same every where I go. Six people waiting to be served yesterday in the very small shop at the Arnison center. Busy when I popped in to get my balloon filled with helium the other day as well. This is the same as I witnessed last year when Greggs reopened. This is going to be good in my opinion:)

I am really happy with the results and the outlook looks good to me. Some people are hoping that CARD move more into the gifting market. Well in my opinion the share price is a gift!!!
