Short answer: it depends
Longer answer: it depends on the sellers and buyers, 1 year is a relatively short period of time, in the short term markets act like a voting machine like in a popularity contest, long term like a weighting machine give it a few years more
Also oil price could be way beyond 55-60$ next year, you are speculating and US shale is mostly dead I expect higher oil prices.
Again as outlined in the CMD from now on any sale asset disposal will be value accretive (that means it increases our net worth) or it won't be. Still very anoyed with Les Wood, those 575 million $ that made him feel comfortable cost us a bloody fortune! I want his resignation!! And I will be asking for his resignation as soon as oil hits 70$ per barrel!!!
What has a Ghanian oil company have anything to do with Brexit??
The UK can sink for all I care but that won't affect oil markets an iota.
Which innminent global depression are you talking about??
Vaccines are coming.
your opinion is not unbiased, you are a market participant like anyone else and your opinions are as fallible as mine (I like to think it's more) now that you are out you need to justify your decision you will backward rationalize to justify selling before the vaccine arrives but that's not my corcern and I frankly don't care it's none of my business but shouldn't talk BS when you know it's BS.
Vaccines are coming.
RBL loan is not max out, they have in consideration the 2022 bond maturies, without the bond maturities they will gladly increase their lending facilities in a similar amount.
You only wish for the SP to go down so you can buy back in, don't daytrade you are going to end up losing money and if you are going to daytrade at least don't give us a headacke, too many people invest on outlook the share in undervalued and outlook is positive not negative we are 85% down from last year prices and I am not going to sell. Stick to your daytrading if that's your thing but don't try to manipulate other so you buy back in one of your manic depressive swings.
Is Better to Remain Silent and Be Thought a Fool than to Speak and to remove all doubt
No, that's not it, self-funded means it is paid with the profits of the business. Do you understand what is capital intensive? That means you reinvest the profits in the business. Self funded doesn't mean a rights issue that is external funding just like loans external.
"what exactly self funded consists of?"
lol is self explantory
Still gas was a small part of our revenue.
subsurface
World bank, political loans
It is risky for shorters, a corporation produce earnings over time, the longer they hold their short positions the higher the expected value they will have to pay for shorting the shares (earnings produce dividends and any increase in the equity will eventually be reflected in the SP)
Definition of nice - Merriam-Webster's Student Dictionary
Etymology: Middle English nice "foolish, stupid," from early French nice (same meaning), from Latin nescius "ignorant," from nescire "not to know," from ne- "not" and scire "to know"
Word History Five hundred years ago, when nice was first used in English, it meant "foolish or stupid." This is not as surprising as it may seem, since it came through early French from the Latin nescius, meaning "ignorant." By the 16th century, the sense of being "very particular" or "finicky" had developed. In the 19th century, nice came to mean "pleasant or agreeable" and then "respectable," a sense quite unlike its original meaning.
Glad you don't think of me as someone nice I would be offended if someone ever called me nice.
Idem GL!
I don't care how effective is the vaccine I don't care how many people die I just want the lockdowns to end and oil prices to go up.
Azn is not a concern there are also pfizer, modena, ... and they will all compete for the market share and will try to discredit their competitors, as long as we end the restrictions I won't care if the whole thing happens to be a massive nothing burger.
Alexander Novak will be having informal meetings tomorrow (looks like Russia is interested in extending the oil cuts)
In the US no one gives a **** about corona, still lockdowns will end and oil price will go up when vaccines are out.
Always keep some cash ready to pounce on market dips!
Taken my profit from this mornings trade.
