Herbie/Jeb, having read LT's posts for years, going back to the III board (I think!), I'm pretty sure the reason he went quiet is because he was duped as much as the rest of us, and in fact probably moreso. IMO he was far more genuine than the majority of posters on LSE.
Taxi, of all the posters on this board that I’ve read over the years (and I’ve been here since ENEG were 18p), IMO YingTong is one of the most impartial, and I think his posts are informative and, from what I can tell, seem to be factually correct. If he’s not saying much positive about this dog of a company, that’s probably because there’s not much positive to say!
Anyone still invested (and for the record I have 5M and am £30K down) should have written this off. Hoping or expecting Guardian, or anyone else, to salvage this and return anything to us, while saying “the BoD have our best interests at heart,” is sadly living in cuckoo land – I’d be delighted if that were the case, but it’s not going to happen, and I’d be surprised if they have anyone’s interest at heart except their own.
This is not directed at you and I see it on every board, but I can’t understand how defensive people get to a negative post, and the blinkered approach they have to their investments that they’re under water in (in our case, chained to the bottom of the pool!) Sure, nobody wants to hear bad news, but surely it’s better to hear the truth and act accordingly, rather than blindly carry on as if everything’s going swimmingly…?
No, the dividend Elphi is talking about has caused the SP to spike 2000%.
Or you could just read yesterday's RNS...
The address that the previous director, a Mrs S Minty, was registered to - that wouldn't be a personal residence, surely...? Looks like a relatively pleasant area.
Thanks for the reply, Hobster. I also only have myself to blame. While I probably did pay a bit too much attention to Seadog's enthusiastic ramps, anyone that takes advice from an anonymous poster on the internet deserves everything they get. I also think the vitriol towards LT from a certain few is out of order, and I genuinely wonder if some posters are of a legal age to invest.
Anyway, I’ll go back to lurking now...
Hi all, long time lurker, but with all that's going on I finally felt the need to sign up here. I'm a long time "investor" (been in since 18p ENEG days), and I'm now a holder of 2M at just over 1p, so small time compared to the likes of LT but it's a lot for me...
My question is, while I agree today's RNS is pretty much the final nail for us PIs (and I would also rather vote against and completely lose what I've put in here than give ANYTHING more to AM), why is the price vaguely holding up? Over 230M traded and the price is around 0.053 - why are people buying? Or am I just being exceptionally ignorant/naive?!
