Very odd these new start times apparently my round will now start 15minutes earlier at 6.15am it was 6.30am honestly can’t make head nor tail of that happy though

I really can’t c the issue with a 3 day service say Monday Wednesday Friday for mail who really in this day and age needs mail more often than that

No surprise in the trading update it was obvious it was a good Christmas, but also USO needs huge reform and very quickly

Yes absolutely packets only on Tuesday and Saturday would really help Royal Mail there must be ways certain duty patterns to accommodate that, it would almost certainly help the finances enormously and I’m sure the public won’t care if they get mail 4 days a week instead of 6

Absolutely agree with that comment that peak is now 8 to 9 weeks as opposed to 3 or 4 weeks as it used to be

Well that’s Christmas done for another year wasn’t a bad year I shouldn’t think packets went mad to start with but certainly settled down so won’t be record breaking for packets cards were a lot more than last year but nothing like years ago today wasn’t worth delivering and apparently the mail centre in Chester is empty so tomorrow be quiet aswell

The cut off date was pre determined yes, crazy decision it really is hopefully next year they will learn there lesson and start seasonal variation a week later

Seasonal variation does finish next Saturday December 16th another ludicrously stupid decision by royal mail stop management team
