STATEMENT
Victim's Declaration:
"I, Guido Theuns, am the CEO of the company Woodbois, headquartered in London. We have several subsidiaries in various countries, including Africa and Mauritius. As part of my role, I interact with shareholders from different countries.
On September 24, 2024, I went to Switzerland for a meeting at XLIFE Sciences AG. There were five people present at the meeting. During the discussion, one of the shareholders, who owes the company approximately $500,000, was asked to repay the debt. He responded aggressively and demanded that I do what he wanted.
He tried to force me to sign a document, which I initially refused. As I stood up to leave, another person approached me, blocked the door, and raised his fist towards me. He did not hit me but threatened me physically because I refused to sign the document.
The aggressor insisted that I had no choice but to sign. To avoid further escalation, I signed the document under duress. I left the meeting, made some phone calls, and eventually returned. I was fearful because the individual who blocked me has ties to violent individuals in the drug trade.
The document I signed concerned a loan of $500,000, with terms I did not agree with. I was coerced into signing it out of fear."
