Does anyone know once a company is acquired by another company how long it normally takes for completion and your shares settled. It’s a bit unsettling to see your shares frozen and a note saying “this company has been acquired all proceeds will be dispersed when complete” but no timescales. Understand things take time was just wondering if anyone who has more experience than me has any input.

This isn't going anywhere without news, all week it's been breaking support levels on the 2 minute chart. Any step up is instantly wiped out with a steady decline downwards for the rest of the day. I'm bullish on this and have a small holding around the 2.2 mark but until news I cant see it gaining any momentum despite the daily chats of 3p by the end of the day by the regulars.

I've scratched my head with share the past few weeks but looking at the technicals and in particular the daily chart I can understand the drop as it has been in a major stage 4 downtrend and has religious stuck below the trend line. However where I scratch my head now is that it is back below levels of the start of June before the initial breakout. Even at this level and being 9.30am with a volume of circa 450 to 500k it fails to break the trend and go higher. There must be a huge seller still offloading in the background. As much as I want this to go higher and I myself got in at 37p I was trading on technical anaylsis as opposed to fundamentals as based on fundamentals this share is overvalued. Until the selling in the background is gone I'm concerned where this will go but i will hold as it always was a gamble. Good Luck all

Yes, I probably wasn’t very clear with what I was trying to say, that any negative impact of the post on the share price will have already been factored in as it was from January. But I didn’t realise the link between the two companies which is interesting.
