Delays - something we have come to expect with JLP
- what disappoints me with this one is in the project update of 28 March they told us “Roan was progressing to schedule “ but now 3 weeks later there is a 6 week delay, how does that work?
Sold out early last year , used to like this and the ADVFN board , so thought I would look in to see how the Old Girl was bearing up, wow when i started reading about SLP being far superior to JLP and the use of "Jam Tomorrow" and "issurance" then hearing about DCM stockpile , conroast being finished, the cost of the Iyoni refurb and then the Kabwe situation I thought , this all sounds familiar , but when the mention of Hummingbird , Centamin and BUSHveld it all clicked back to the ADVFN board - that old rascal Plat Hunter ... hope you are keeping well Plat.
Checking back some BB posts last week there seems to be some very interesting post of the ADVFN board which has carries on today. From what I understand when Jubilee posted new gallery photos on their website there were some notes attached to them ( which have since been removed) It gave daily PGM productions from the chrome tailings feeds of DCM 160oz/day Windsor 110oz/day JMG/Marula 65oz/day and extra 65oz/day from Inyoni G - these figures were noticed by a poster billyusa so can only go on his post - but if that is correct it is huge and begs the question have the notes been done in advance of deals being worked on coming to fruition , as at the moment the DCM tailings being processed and anything at all about the JMG/Marula are news to me , also the Inyoni g reference is something new too ?
"Watch for #JLP #JubileeMetals next week.
New and stable chart platform towards 4.50p.

#JLP profitable + throwing off cash. Plat + Pall shortages will drive prices higher and bringing copper on stream. Weakness of rand v $.
Perfect storm.
SA economics notwithstanding."
Is this an old article Jubilee are retweeting today ?

You can actually phone sky and they are now letting you suspend sky sports and will start charging you again once they are back to showing live sport - they don't switch the channels off but don't take your money. Its an automated system now - you don't even need to be put on hold to speak to anyone
They do not produce quarterly updates anymore and have moved to 6 monthly updates - that however is due in the next few weeks. They did say the would give project updates and for the life of me i can't think why they don't give one for Hernic and a separate one for Windsor ( clubbing them together in one rns doesn't give the sp the same boost ) , emphasising what the increased basket price has on both projects bottom line, you would think they don't want to see the sp rise ???
Does it have copper though ? This is why we need a clear operations update, did we get existing tailings containing copper when we bought Sable ? or are we toll processing for a third party - it would be kind of good to know some facts and figures.
You would think so , it might help if they announced they were producing PGM concentrate from the Windsor tailings . Northam managed to advise in the webcast covering their financial results om 23rd of August that PGM concentrate had been produced from tailings at their Eland operation and sent to their Zondereinde smelter - the Eland operation is where the Windsor tailings have been transported to , it is now 4th September and nothing from Jubilee.
Wait a minute - that can't be right, that would mean
Hernic at near full capacity generates earnings o £8m per year
Platcro PGMs are the same and Jubilee get the Lions share ( 60/40 isn't a Lions share , so say 70/30 ) that's £ 5.6m per year
Platcro Chrome will earn £ 5.2 - £7.8 m
DCM Fine Chrome possibly £ 5.2m @ 50% share = £ 2.6m
that's £ 21.4 - 24 million EARNINGS before you add Kabwe, Fine Chrome roll out and DCM PGMs or anything else up their sleeves !
nice work !
so simply if Platcro Q1 earnings were £ 1.3m x 4 for the year = £ 5.2m
but if they keep up the March rate of £ 0.65 then annually that's £ 7.8m earnings
DCM at full tilt should be much the same earnings annually , perhaps more due to lower running costs
Can Jubilee improve the Platcro throughput even more ?
Get a fine chrome plant into Platcro ASAP !!!
People bang on ( and quite rightly so ) about the potential here of the increased PGMs , new Vanadium, Lead and Zinc , but it looks like the contribution that Chrome can / will make for this company is quite significant.
