Very interesting link to suggest that Majors consider Namibian licences as rich pickings - bring on the farm out...

Just read that Tower resources had a Major interested in one of its blocks which is connected to the tune of 180M barrels to our 500M Welwitschia deep. They said that COVID and the price of the barrel meant that is was put on the back burner. What's to say there isnt renewed enthusiasm for 2021 with the projected price of the barrel. Also this accumulation is 3x greater in GBP's field compared to TRP who had a Major sniffing

Fact is that the Welwitschia 1A has already been drilled on this license in 2014. It didn't even reach deeper formation where we are talking 500m barrels net to GBP. With an upgraded interpretation on the horizon at £5M if they did pull off a farm out and drill this it would stand at multiples. Even 170M barrels in the Marula isn't to be sniffed at. What NAMCO needed was the specialist geological interpretation and now they have it in the form of GBP's team. Add in the increasing price of the barrel ($60 by spring) and the market could very well be surprised here. GL.

GBP, as with Exxon, own one of the largest Namibian acerages off shore at 11,000km2. We are awaiting the prospectivity interpretation of PEL 94 which we are told is positive and to be detailed in the next RNS. The notional drill location is slightly east of the WW 1A well and is targeting the missed upper crecatous and deeper formation. NAMCO own 15% of the license and a very similar percentage of Exxon's Namibian ownership so we are already connected to Exxon through government channels. The WW1A well drilled in 2014 provided GBP with invaluable infornation including the excellent seal geology information

Potential farm out enquiries were underway as stated in the RNS very early in December. Into the final third of the month tomorrow and if consolidation is complete as buys over weighed sells today we should be in for a very good few days/ weeks ahead.

Namibian and stated oil O&G company NAMCO owns 10% Of Exxon's licence area to the north and 15% of our license area to the south. I wonder if NAMCO have already encouraged or invited Exxon to the data room

Wonder if the companies who have viewed this data like what they are seeing. According to the RNS it's all very positive...

The Company expects the interpretation of this data to enhance significantly the prospectivity already identified in this area. Given the progress made, the Company expects to be able to publish an updated Prospective Resources estimate for PEL0094 in the latter part of January 2021.

The Company is also pleased to confirm that the farm out process for PEL0094 has now commenced. Global is currently contacting potentially interested companies and the data rooms will open in January 2021.

The key is Exxon are active in off shore Namibia which is the main thing and have a proportion/percentage with their national O&G - just like GBP. Just think what an exclusivity agreement with these guys do to our £5M MCap
