How strange that the price increased about 12% between 3.45 and 4.30 yesterday and the RNS was timed

at 4.39pm ? All investors treated equally are they , make your own mind up. I don't hold 888 shares but

noticed the significant price movement. Good luck to the vast majority of long term none privileged shareholders !

I'm a NEX shareholder and so definitely want the share price to get much higher. I trust that the reasons for a name change

are good and that it's a good idea. I'm just really not keen on the new name Mobico -- what do others think ?

Shares in the likes of Grosvenor Casinos owner Rank Group are likely to be lifted as a result of these potential changes.

Everytime someone buys a share they are doing so believing they've bought at the bottom. When some time later the share price is considerably lower they are of course following their plan on averaging down. Averaging down means you got it wrong previously but are still confident enough to try again at the lower price. Nothing to be ashamed of as finding the low point is obviously difficult but lets be honest, we're not a genius by buying 40% lower than our previous (Bad) buys.

Thank you meoryou and others for mentioning the reducing CGT allownces from next tax year. This should hopefully effect me (Assuming Profits !! lol) but i was not previously aware of it. Now have plenty of time to get 20K into my ISA this year which i wasn't going to bother with but is now clearly sensible to do. Just shows that these message boards can be useful provided you treat with extreme care and don't believe 90% of it !! GLA

Good recovery since lows in October 2022 but 90's proving tough up to now. Patience needed, speaking of which , will the gambling white paper be released any time this decade ? Ridiculous the amount of time that it takes governments and organisations to research and make decisions. Businesses left in limbo for years not knowing what new rules they'll have to operate under.

Good Trading Update today. Would hope that this will now lead to an increase in
shares traded and significant upward movement in the low share price ! DYOR

I bought these at over 20p back in May 2021 and sold at 13p in Feb 2022. Have just bought them back at 8.4p and now have overall break even of around 13p The interim results included positive comments for the future but the shares have continued their decline since. Hope bottom has been reached and next results will give boost to shares. I would consider these risky and could go either way from here. DYOR

I'm still well down on Rank. Bought at 1.36 and 1.00 , panic sold half at 0.74 ,
but luckily got tempted and bought back at 0.57 Still way off break even (£1.11)
but at least it's now moving in the right direction having increased from around
55p to current 74p. Inflation problems not helped and will probably need to hold
for a few years to get a decent selling price.

I am a LTH of RR shares but have a general query that i hope someone can answer :
One of the things i keep an eye on is director share dealings. You often see sells with tax related
in brackets. Pl could you give a simple example to explain what this means/indicates. thanks.

Previously bought at 1.35 , just topped up at 99.3 Hope this does prove to be a good price!
Could do with a general turn around of the current negativity. Difficult times recently.

I've done well on Rank up to now and sold out at 1.56.
I have however bought back at what i thought was a good price
of 1.35 Surprised it's continued down to today's price but still
believe it will recover strongly assuming no new major outside negatives.

Topped back up at 1.39 this morning. Originally looking to top up at 1.50 , waited a bit longer but didn't want to risk missing out by trying to wait for even lower price. New virus news likely to determine short term direction but confident of long term either way , unless total general disaster.

Bought a few more 38p this morning. Think price is low IMAO , and Interesting two large buys
yesterday afternoon. DYOR

Happy for chance to buy back half of my "sold shares" at break even.
Glad that i didn't chase price and a little patience has paid off.
I'll hold long term from here expecting good performance
--or buy back other half if it continues dropping as low as £1.50

Oct 2020 price around 1.30 , now 3.75 288% in 7 months.
Do wish all my shares were this boring !!

My purchase this morning is also showing as a sell.
