RE: Game Over12 Mar 2026 18:47
To think this could all have been avoided had they listened to their work force instead of concentrating on lining their pockets. How many people have tried to tell them about how production is led wrong or how the machines aren't fit for purpose or how they should run a late or night shifts with zero engineers or maintence staff in to fix broken down machines instead they chose to ignore the workers and now they have the absolute cheek to stand in the meeting asking for suggestions on how to save the company or how to stop them from sacking 100 people. Maybe instead of their office staff concentrating on pulling unite posters down they should have concentrated on getting the factory running correctly. Maybe instead of employing people like H&S who concentrate more on parking and monitoring CCTV to use against people who spoke out against things instead of getting rid of actual dangers instead of working to protect management and set people up the place would be in better condition. There's so many maybes. Maybe they should have kept the team leaders instead of sacking them and keeping some as supervisors because they're mates or family with certain managers or yesmen the production would be running correctly. Maybe if those supervisors knew how to actually do hand overs instead if rushing out we wouldn't have full shifts not knowing what theyre doing. None of this should be pointed towards the work staff because they done everything asked of them. This rests solely with mangers and office staff. No some of us who've been investing for the last few years not only lose our shares but also our jobs. Hope when we get layed off and we get given 39 quid a day the same will be given to the managers and office staff who done nothing but helped run the place into the ground. The workers have suffered enough because of them. We lost 5 holidays, thousands in pay due to this 3 shifts and now all this. Absolutely worst decision I ever made coming here from a good job.
