santos 6% "up"

i notice that Centrals largest shareholder has been heavily buying over the last few days, also Santos shares are 6% in the last few days ..........................might be nothing but i know that when they drilled Mt Kitty back in 2014 it seems there was a bit of a leak...........Central asked for their shares to be suspended and about 4 days later announced significant gas find.
As i say might be nothing but could the drilling be a bit further down than they let on, maybe trying to keep a lid on things ??
one would assume that if there is any hydracabons present they would encounter these before they reach TD

looks like drilling is taking longer than we all thought.................................theyre approximately 1/3 (to TD) deep at the moment

Nobody really knows , it all depends on the substrate they are drilling I would expect this newer Rig to be better , so slightly quicker

btw That previous drilling was also done by Ensign with a slightly older rig than they are using at Dukas.

That took 21 days to get to TD of 2295 meters, so an average of 109 meters/day.

not sure if that is for this drill ......could be for a previous drill they did at MT Kitty

replied to my enquiry............all they would say is drilling is progressing well
