WPP's Salmon Buys UK E-Commerce Digital Agency Neoworks

LONDON (Alliance News) - WPP PLC Thursday said its Salmon e-commerce agency has acquired UK e-commerce digital agency Neoworks Ltd for an undisclosed sum.

London-based Neoworks has 35 employees and counts the likes of Ted Baker PLC, ASICS and T-Mobile amongst its clients, WPP said.

The agency's consolidated unaudited revenues for the year to March 31 were GBP3.9 million, with gross assets of GBP2.7 million at the same date, the FTSE 100 advertising group said.

WPP shares were up 0.5% to 1,282.85 pence on Thursday.
