Wincanton Appoints Electrocomponents Supply Chief As Non-Executive

LONDON (Alliance News) - Logistics firm Wincanton PLC said on Monday it has appointed Debbie Lentz as a non-executive director with effect on June 1.

Lentz is currently president of the Global Supply Chain division of FTSE 250-listed engineering firm Electrocomponents PLC, and has been for two years since 2017.

Prior to this she was chief supply chain officer at children's retailer Toys R Us for three years from 2014 to 2017.

"We are delighted to welcome Debbie to the board. She has a strong track record in digital and supply chain management, both of which are highly relevant to the further development of Wincanton's e-commerce propositions," said Chair Martin Read.

Shares in Wincanton were up 3.3% at 247.50 pence on Monday.
