UPDATE: Polemos Raises GBP175,000 In Share Placing (ALLISS)

LONDON (Alliance News) - Natural resources and energy sector investment company Polemos PLC on Tuesday said it has raised GBP175,000 though a share placing, with funds to be used to assist in seeking investment opportunities.

Polemos said it placed 437.5 million shares at a price of 0.04 pence per share.

Shares were up 22% at 0.04 pence on Tuesday afternoon, having hit 0.07p earlier in the day.

The announcement comes after Polemos released a statement earlier on Tuesday following a share price spike, in which it said it was in the final stages of securing the funding through an equity placing.
