UPDATE: Location Sciences Extends Bookbuild After Placing Interest

(Alliance News) - Location data and analytics firm Location Sciences Group PLC on Thursday extended a placing after receiving interest above the minimum.

Earlier Thursday, the firm had said it would raise at least GBP250,000, and possibly up to GBP750,000, in a share placing. It was to place at least 33.3 million new shares at 2.25 pence each.

Location Sciences said because interest has been received for more than GBP250,000 worth of shares, the bookbuild will now close at noon on Friday.

Location Sciences shares closed 15% lower on Thursday in London at 2.38p.
