UK vaccine body: Keep going with second doses of AstraZeneca vaccine

Wed, 07th Apr 2021 15:41

LONDON, April 7 (Reuters) - People in Britain who have
received their first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine
should continue to be offered their second dose, despite a
change in guidance over administering the shot to younger
citizens, health officials said.

"Those who have received their first dose of AstraZeneca
vaccine should continue to be offered the second dose of
AstraZeneca vaccine, according to the set schedule," said Wei
Shen Lim, chair of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and
Immunisation.
