UK EXECUTIVE CHANGE SUMMARY: Catena Taps Former CS And Prudential Exec

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Thursday and Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Catena Group PLC - Hires John Murray as non-executive director immediately. Murray was a managing director at Credit Suisse Group AG and senior advisor to chief executive Tidjane Thiam and prior to that was group communications director at Prudential PLC. Thiam, who previously had run insurer Prudential, left Credit Suisse earlier this year following a spying scandal.

ConvaTec Group PLC - medical products - Ros Rivaz resigns as non-executive director from August 31 to take up new role of chair of Nuclear Decommissioning Agency.

Globalworth Real Estate Investments Ltd - office investor in Central and Eastern Europe - David Maimon hired as non-executive director with immediate effect. Maimon is a member of the advisory boards of Frankfurt-listed Aroundtown SA and Grand City Properties SA. He was chief executive officer of El Al Airlines from 2014 to 2018.

Urban Logistics REIT PLC - logistics property investment - Hires Heather Hancock as independent non-executive director from June 15. Hancock is a former managing partner at Deloitte. She currently is chair of the Food Standards Agency but will step down in October to become master of St. John's College, Cambridge.

Phoenix Spree Deutschland Ltd - German residential real estate investment - Promotes Non-Executive Director Monique O'Keefe to senior independent director, effective immediately, replacing Charlotte Valeur.

Escape Hunt PLC - operator of escape room experiences - Adrian Jones resigns as non-executive director effective May 31. Jones was part of the original management team that founded Escape Hunt but is based in Malaysia, while the company has moved to the UK since its AIM listing in 2017. Escape Hunt said it will now look for a UK-based replacement.

Safestore Holdings PLC - Hires Gert van de Weerdhof as non-executive director from June 1. Van de Weerdhof has held a number of roles in retail, consumer goods and real estate, including as CEO of GrandVision Europe BV and chief retail officer for Esprit Holdings Ltd.

Costain Group PLC - infrastructure construction - Appoints Bishoy Emad Azmy Gendi as non-executive director, from the annual general meeting on June 16. He is CEO of shareholder ASGC Construction LLC, so won't be deemed as independent. Costain on Thursday said it raised GBP100 million through the issue of 166.7 million shares at 60 pence each.
