TOP NEWS: Segro Says It Has Received Most Of Quarterly Rent Due

(Alliance News) - Segro PLC on Wednesday said it has received most of the rent due for its third quarter for its UK and Continental European portfolio.

The FTSE 100-listed real estate investment trust said that as at Tuesday, it had received 93% of the GBP37 million of rent due by the payment date June 24, after adjusting for re-profiled rent agreed with customers. It noted that GBP9 million of rent ordinarily due on the UK quarterly payment date has been re-profiled, mostly to be paid in the second half of 2020.

Segro added that with regard to payments for the second quarter of 2020 across its UK and continental European portfolio, as at June 30 it had received 98% of the GBP88 million rent due after adjusting for re-profiled rent of GBP13 million. 2% of the rent due - or GBP1.5 million - has not been paid.

Full unaudited results for its first half will be published on August 5.

The stock was trading 0.7% lower at 908.00 pence each on Wednesday morning in London.
