Wed, 24th Mar 2021 10:11

(Sharecast News) - Ventilation systems manufacturer Titon Holdings said on Wednesday that former Jim Lawrence Lighting and Home operations director Matthew Norris would join the group as chief executive officer on 12 July.

Norris will succeed David Ruffell, who will step down as CEO and leave Titon on 30 April, with chairman Keith Ritchie assuming CEO responsibilities on an interim basis from 1 May until Norris joins the group.

The AIM-listed group stated that Norris had led innovation and delivered profitable growth and cultural change in all of his previous leadership roles.

Chairman Keith Ritchie said: "We are delighted to welcome Mat to the group. Following an extensive search and a thorough evaluation of candidates, we are confident that Mat has the skills and experience to lead Titon in the next stage of the group's development and to introduce innovation to drive growth in all of our businesses."

As of 1010 GMT, Titon shares were down 1.54% at 134.40p.
