Tertiary begins drilling at Lucky Copper Project

Mon, 22nd Feb 2021 11:52

(Sharecast News) - Tertiary Minerals announced that drilling was scheduled to start on Monday on its Lucky Copper Project in Nevada.

The AIM-traded firm said the target is a disseminated sediment hosted, intrusion-related copper deposit.

It had announced details of the project and the planned drill hole on 29 May and 11 January.

The board said results of the drilling would be advised once analytical results were available.

"We have decided to drill at an early stage on this project as historical exploration results present an immediate target with reported copper mineralisation that needs to be confirmed and put into a better geological context," said executive chairman Patrick Cheetham.

"We look forward to reporting results as they become available."

At 1123 GMT, shares in Tertiary Minerals were down 5.88% at 0.54p.
