Ted Baker expands into interior design

British clothing designer Ted Baker has sashayed into interior design services via a deal with a property group set up by chief executive and founder Ray Kelvin, called THAT Bournemouth Company.The deal, worth £250,000, will see Ted Baker provide a trademark licence and design services for the development of apartments in Bournemouth, designing the interior of 15 luxury apartments in the town.Kelvin is the major shareholder in THAT, which was set up five years ago and has the same registered address as Ted Baker, while Lindsay Page, the group's finance chief is also a shareholder and co-founder director.Ted Baker shares were up 0.37% to 2,590.55 at 11:55 on Tuesday.
