TechMARK movers: Domino Printing gains

Order intake in the May to September period has picked up at bar code printing group Domino Printing Sciences and is close to returning to pre-credit crunch levels. Sales revenues in the period were up 8% on the corresponding period of 2008, but like for like (LFL) sales revenues were down 9% year on year (YOY). However, this was an improvement on the 19% slide in LFL revenues reported in the six months to end-April. Revenues were boosted 13% by favourable exchange rate movements.System on chip developer Imagination Technologies is expecting strong volume unit and royalty revenue growth for the current financial year. 'The actual rate of increase in volume this financial year will be influenced by consumer spending and our partners' market deployment plans,' the company said, adding that it remains on course to hit its target of shipping around 200m units in fiscal 2010/11. Imagination is expecting to see increasing take-up of its latest generation graphics technology, POWERVR SGX, as well as a growing proportion of devices using multiple technologies from Imagination's intellectual property portfolio.
