Sunrise Resources Submits Samples For Perlite And Pozzolan Testing

LONDON (Alliance News) - Sunrise Resources PLC said Tuesday it has completed drill sample compositing and all composites have now been submitted for perlite and pozzolan testing as part of the mine planning programme for the CS Pozzolan-Perlite project located in the US state of Nevada.

The company submitted 80 composite drill samples to Magmatics Inc for pozzolan strength testing and 40 drill samples to In.Mat-Lab in Greece for perlite testing, including application specific testing.

Sunrise Resources also said that it has received requests from potential customers to supply raw perlite for commercial scale expansion trials and that it is is now formulating plans to excavate and process bulk samples.

"I am pleased to report that we are keeping up the momentum on the CS Project as we push ahead with mine planning, permitting and marketing. Interest in our planned perlite production from consumers is keen and we will accelerate the bulk sampling and commercial scale trials to service this demand," Chairman Patrick Cheetham said.

Shares in Sunrise were trading 6.2% higher at 0.138 pence.
