Stratmin Steps Up Production From New Graphite Processing Circuit

LONDON (Alliance News) - Graphite exploration company Stratmin Global Resources PLC Thursday said it has completed of the first full shift of production using its new processing circuit and has attained further encouraging carbon content results from trial processing.

Madagascar-focused Stratmin said the plant at its Loharano site successfully completed its first double shift using its recently installed converted MechProTech scrubber.

Further calibration of this scrubber since has allowed the company to produce a trial batch of graphite with a carbon content of 92.7%, it said.

Stratmin Managing Director Manoli Yannaghas said: "92.7% carbon content has exceeded our expectations at this stage and proves StratMin is capable of producing premium grade graphite. These are great results that demonstrate we are moving in the right direction."

The stock was trading at 9.00 pence Thursday morning, unchanged.
