LONDON (Alliance News) - Sound Energy PLC on Thursday said it appointed Simon Davies as independent non-executive chair of the company with immediate effect.
Davies had previously served as chair of the Moroccan-focused upstream gas company between 2014 and 2016. He was also a non-executive director of Sound Energy between 2005 and 2010.
Upon Davies' return, Independent Non-Executive Chair Richard Liddell will continue as independent non-executive director. Stepping down as chair will enable him to devote additional time to his other business interests, the company explained.
Sound Energy shares were trading 3.3% lower at 10.83 pence each.
