SMALL-CAP WINNERS & LOSERS: Raven Property flies higher on strong half

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Tuesday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Raven Property Group Ltd, up 11% at 29.88 pence, 12-month range 23.15p-32.10p. The Russia-focused commercial property investment company says its performance improved in the first half of 2021. Raven says portfolio occupancy stood at 96% as at August 31, up from 93% at June 30 and 94% as at the end of 2020. Posts net assets rise in the half-year to GBP264.5 million from GBP233.7 million at the end of 2020 and diluted net asset value per share increases by 25% to 50p as at June 30.

Zenith Energy Ltd, up 5.1% at 1.02p, 12-month range 0.0030-1.07p. Shares hit a fresh 12-month high after oil and gas company enters into an exclusive deal to evaluate the acquisition of a stake in the North-West Corner of OML 141 oil project in Nigeria.

Regional REIT Ltd, up 2.3% at 90.26p, 12-month range 58.30p-93.20p. The property investor acquires a portfolio of 31 assets across the UK from Squarestone Growth for GBP236 million. "The board's expectation is for the acquisition to be earnings accretive, with significant additional value being achieved over the coming years from the company's active management initiatives. The acquisition will also add further significant scale and diversification to the company's portfolio to the benefit of all shareholders," it says.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

Bridgepoint Group PLC, down 3.5% at 495.50p, up 42% from July 21 initial public offering price. Citigroup starts coverage on the private equity investor with a Neutral rating, though JPMorgan starts coverage at Overweight.
