HOUSTON, July 27 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell Plcwas restarting on Friday the crude distillation unit (CDU) atits 218,200 barrel per day (bpd) Norco, Louisiana, refinery,said sources familiar with plant operations.
The 240,000 bpd DU-5 CDU is expected to return to productionnext week, the sources said. The unit was shut on July 10 for aplanned overhaul.
The CDU does the primary refining of crude oil and provideshydrocarbon feedstock for all other units at the Norco refinery.(Reporting by Erwin Seba;Editing by Bernadette Baum)
