Servelec Secures Patent For Device Access Control Method

Thu, 17th Mar 2016 09:19

LONDON (Alliance News) - Servelec Group PLC said its Servelec Technologies business has been awarded a patent for its access security software, which it said will reduce costs "significantly" for its customers.

The software company said the successful patent application for the 'Device Access Control Method' will mean less time is spent granting access for an individual across potentially thousands of individual remote telemetry units in geographically remote locations, thus lowering costs.

"I am excited to be able to announce this successful patent award as it further demonstrates our position as a leading edge technologies business, supporting international infrastructure providers," Andy Sullivan, Servelec Technologies managing director said.

Shares in Servelec were up 1.8% at 353.00 pence on Thursday.
