(Alliance News) - SDL PLC on Monday said it has hired Gordon Stuart as an independent non-executive director, effective immediately.
Stuart is currently chief financial officer of software company Unit4 NV. He was previously chief financial officer at professional services firm TMF Group as well as at management services provider Alexander Mann Solutions.
He was also previously group finance director of outsourcing firm Xansa PLC and of credit risk management software developers London Bridge Software Holdings PLC.
"I am delighted to welcome Gordon to the board. He brings current technology experience and considerable large international service organisation insight, a key strategic area for the company as we follow the growth path outlined at the recent capital markets event," said SDL Chair David Clayton.
Shares in Maidenhead-headquartered SDL were up 1.8% at 627.00 pence each on Monday afternoon in London.
