REUTERS SUMMIT-Ghana oil corp says in talks with Shell over East Keta basin

ACCRA, April 9 (Reuters) - Ghana National PetroleumCorporation (GNPC) is in talks with Royal Dutch Shell over an exploration and production deal in the offshore EastKeta basin, GNPC's chief executive told a Reuters summit.

GNPC is also in talks with UB Petroleum, A-Z Petroleum andHeritage Oil over the award of new oil blocks, CEO AlexMould told Reuters. (Reporting by Kwasi Kpodo; Writing by Matthew Mpoke Bigg;Editing by Elaine Hardcastle)
